American Stage presents School Tour,  a cornerstone of our Education & Outreach program—a vibrant, annual musical that travels to schools across Hillsborough and Pinellas counties. By bringing theatre directly into schools , we ignite meaningful conversations and leave students with powerful lessons that resonate long after the final bow.

‍Polkadots: A Cool Kids Musical follows 8-year-old Lily Polkadot, the first Polkadot in the all-Squaretown of Rockaway. Facing daily bullying and segregation, Lily’s quest foracceptance seems impossible until she befriends Sky, a curious Square boy whosees past their differences. Inspired by the Little Rock Nine, Polkdotsdelivers a colorful, age-appropriate history lesson about courage, friendship,and civil rights.
